A symbolic work of art showing the transience of life and the certainty of death.
The beauty of the cycle of life, death, and rebirth is celebrated in this piece. The symbolism of an animal skull surrounded by moss evokes a forest floor claiming back death and returning it to new life.
This Vanitas features a raccoon skull, festooned with dried moss, with amethyst spirit quartz and druzy in the eye sockets. It is set on an antique wood piece that may have been used as a gun rack.
This piece measures 5 1/2 “ x 4 x 5 1/2. It has hardware for hanging on the back.
Sorry, no refunds, but if a piece breaks, please send it back to me and I will be happy to fix it!
